Dear colleagues,
for the upcomming ISO/NP TS 23520:
"EQuipment eXchange - data format specification for operational information
relevant for equipment exchange and testing"
there was a request to define a folder in the ISO 13499 directory structure
Within this folder there could be one or more (XML) files that contain the information for the
ISO/NP TS 23520 standard.
A first proposal was to use the subdirectory name "EQX".
This could be relevant for the verion 2.0, but also for the currently often used version 1.5/1.6.
May RED A will be the right place to provide this recommendation?
Kind regards,
Dirk

Re: Subdirectory for EQX data
Decision on the web-meeting (2019-10-30):
Integrate in RED A chapter A.2.15 the name for the subdirectory should be:
Equipment
Will also be added to RED A of ISO 13499 Version 2.
For the future we need to clarify which document types should be in here for the
ISO/NP TS 23520.
As the naming is now more general, there might be some other documents, related to
the equipment used, that someone will store here.
According to ISO 13499 V 2.0 there must be an *.mmi file to describe the files in the
subdirectory.
Kind regards,
Dirk
