In the draft version of MME 2.0 three new tables for the specification of a test are introduced in RED A

Independent from the MME 2.0 it is possible to use this tables as a first approach if they are agreed between the exchanging partners.

The rule for the regulation syntax in MME 2.0 RED A is:The regulation can be a reference to a national standard or to a consumer organisation. A consumer test is sometimes followed by the start year of validity. National standards are normally followed by one or two numbers. If a number represents a year it has to be a four digit notation YYYY. In the case of two numbers they have to be separated by ’/ ‘ (ASCII 47) and the year is the second value. Often a test is according to multiple regulations. Therefore a list of valid regulations separated by comma (ASCII 44) is possible
