Standardisation of Movie Names

In the last years many attempts was started to code movie names.
With no success because the information coded in the filenames were to different between the companies.

Within the Volkswagen Group the harmonisation of movie names was forced in the last month.
We found a solution based on the ISO Channel Code which covers the following informations:

• Position of the camera
• Total/Detail View
• Onboard/Offboard
• Description of the detail (if necessary)

In my opinion this solution has the potential to be used as an ISO Movie Code.
