Additional descriptor for "Lateral velocity"

The proposed descriptors for nominal velocity has already been taken over for the "intended velocity"
to the passive safety testing:

In the same way we decided to provide an extension for the lateral velocity of a test object.
The related (optional) descriptor is:

Lat. vel. test object x     :<value>

with 
x = tob number
<value> = integer or float value or NOVALUE

This extension will be documented in the next RED A (estimated Q1/2024)

Hello,

I support this idea of this descriptor “lateral velocity” and the shortened “TOB” for the test object.
“TOB” would be a benefit for many new descriptors in ISO MME due to the restriction to 28 characters.

based on the discussion in the meeting today I have summarized the base information and options in the attached PDF:

Finally we identified a new topic for "longitudinal velocity" to be found in the proposals and in the CA004 document from EuroNCAP.
Actually, this overlaps with the current "velocity" and "impact side" information in passive safety testing.
I will prepare a separate topic for this discussion soon, but in the active safety sub-board.
