Hybrid III with Chinese Anthropometrie

Hi,

I got the information that CATARC in China is working on a Hybrid III with Chinese Anthropometrie. Maybe in regulation and/or consumser test in some years.
I think we have to create a FL3 for this dummy.
My Proposal: HC.

Hi Björn,

if there won't be different sizes HC could fit, when they intend to have different sizes the C wouldn't be enough. At the moment we probably don't have further informations.

Dear Björn,

for the preparation of codes for FL3 and Possible Channels we need to know if there
is the intention to have a China variant for different percentiles in the future.
The "HC" might then not be the best solution.

You proposal for "HC" implies that this is a Hybrid 3 based design, but with different sizes and masses.
So, a "Chineese 50th percentile male based on the Hybrid III design".
If so, the measurements might be the same as vor H3.

Alternative proposals for the discussion if different sizes might follow:

Coding based on "C" (China)
C3,CF,CM (China: 50th, 5th, 95th) would copy the same approach as for HIII for the second character
CM,CS,CL (China: 50th, 5th, 95th) different approach with small, medium, large

Coding based on "H" (Hybrid)
HC,H5, H9 (China: 50th, 5th, 95th) similar to the approach we used for the reserved codes T5, T9; but the China relation is lost so.

By the way: Do you have documents and more details about the announced dummy?
